In that case, a point-and-click adventure game marathon would be fun. Those games get ignored, but they wouldn't be hard to put up since they're on the computer, and they're more story-based. More laid back, too. Speedrunning isn't as big, and skipping cutscenes wouldn't work here, I think. Ones with multiple endings you could save at a certain state and put it to a vote about which path to take. People could donate to see different endings or whatever.
Possible series to choose from: King's Quest Monkey Island Police Quest Syberia Hugo's House of Horrors Myst Sam & Max

I would love a Tales marathon, but some of the JP only ones could be hard to get.

Do a Ninja game marathon. Everybody dresses like ninjas and play games like ninja gaiden, shinobi and maybe even some naruto game for giggles.
As for game list: Ninja Gaiden 1-3 The 2 new Ninja Gaidens. Either the x-box versions or Sigma version for PS3
As for Shinobi games you could any do you have as there is so many, but I wish that the PS2 Shinobi would be played as it's so hard. Muahaahaah.
Naruto Ninja Council 1 and 2
And if you could do something like that if you get this many donations, you would play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games!
