I'll get this poll business kicked off. Now first of all I regret to inform everyone that, sadly, Sonic 3 & Knuckles won't be played at the marathon. So I decided that the only fair thing to do was take the top three voted games from my last poll on this matter after S3&K and put them back up for you guys to choose which one gets played in its place. I've even included with them the type of run it will be. So get those votes in on which one all of you would like to see and be sure you're picking the one you definitely want to see because this time around you only get one vote.
And now, so that everybody knows, Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 are still going to be ran at the marathon. Super Mario 64 is going to be a 16-star run, so expect some fast paced Mario and a lot of buttsliding from the plumber.
Ocarina of Time is going to be a little different. We're going to be taking donations up until I begin my segment of the marathon for what type of run I'll be doing on it. The choices you can donate for are any% and MST (Medallions, Stones, Trials/All Dungeons). What's the difference you might ask? Well, any% skips pretty much everything. No dungeons and no boss fights except for Ganondorf and Ganon; you really don't get to see any of the game, just Link running around catching bugs in a bottle. MST is just what it sounds like. Every dungeon is visited, and every boss is beaten, plus a lot of really awesome tricks get to be shown off. It's definitely more content and more than an hour long, plus there might just be a little surprise waiting if I do an MST run. The run with the highest amount donated towards it when I begin my runs (don't worry, I won't be going first this year) is the one that will be done.
So there you have it. I'm looking forward to the marathon raising a substantial sum for our charity, and putting on an awesome performance that everyone will enjoy.
